RW PROGRAM'S AND TRAUMA SUPPORT
Women, Trauma, and the Body:
Women are more likely than men to experience PTSD. Trauma often shows up differently in women: instead of outward anger, many experience anxiety, depression, emotional numbing, and hypervigilance.
Trauma can also show up in the body as chronic conditions: fibromyalgia, migraines, autoimmune issues, and fatigue. Healing is complicated further by societal stigma, victim-blaming, and the expectation to “move on” quietly.
My approach is gentle, integrative, and trauma-informed. The goal is not to relive trauma — it’s to help you feel safe in your body again.
A Holistic, Trauma-Informed Approach:
Holistic practices can be powerful allies in trauma recovery, especially alongside a licensed therapist. Energy medicine, yoga, meditation, breathwork, herbal education, moon circles, and community support help regulate the nervous system, build somatic awareness, and restore connection.
These aren’t just tools I teach — they’re practices I use in my own life to move from survival into presence and joy. Yoga, for example, calms the nervous system, reconnects you with your body, and gently releases stored emotional tension. I hold training in Trauma- and Anxiety-Informed Yoga as well as Yin Yoga, targeting myofascial tension where trauma often resides.
Holistic Health Coaching & Somatic Support:
Coaching integrates mind, body, and spirit. Our work blends conversation, reflection, and restorative practices to calm your nervous system and support emotional regulation.
At Ritual Women, you’ll learn to release trapped energy, reconnect with your body, and develop tools to manage symptoms without shame. The goal isn’t just coping — it’s moving forward. Through self-trust, self-love, and consistent care, you begin to bloom into a more embodied version of yourself.
Herbal Medicine, Meditation & Ritual:
Herbs aren’t magic, but used consistently and intentionally, they support sleep, relaxation, stress reduction, and hormonal balance. Daily tea rituals and herbal practices can create subtle yet meaningful shifts in energy, mood, and well-being.
Meditation complements this by grounding the body, managing triggers, and letting emotions flow instead of getting stuck.
Moon Circles, Energy Medicine & Intuitive Healing:
Moon Circles provide a trauma-informed, confidential, and supportive space. Shared presence reduces isolation, eases anxiety, and creates a sense of being seen and held.
Energy medicine works with the physical, emotional, and energetic imprints of trauma through methods like EFT tapping, Reiki, Theta Healing, and somatic techniques — helping your body release stress and return to balance.
Intuitive practices reconnect you with inner wisdom, rebuild trust in your body, and restore personal safety — sometimes at a cellular level. Ayurveda complements this by calming racing thoughts, increasing vitality, and supporting self-care rituals that foster love for your body.
Why I Call Us Wildflowers:
I call the women of Ritual Women “Wildflowers” for one big reason: flowers bloom despite harsh conditions. Working with flowers — through aromatherapy, sensory grounding, gardening, or simple observation — offers gentle, non-verbal support that promotes safety, hope, and connection to nature. Wildflowers are symbols of resilience, growth, and quiet strength. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you are — and allowing yourself to bloom.
